
Will you make me throw things away?
No, Simpl Living Co believes it’s important that you have full ownership over what stays in your home. Your space and your belongings are entirely yours. Our role is to support and guide you by asking thoughtful questions that help you decide what truly serves you and what you feel ready to let go of. We will always keep your end goal in mind when supporting you through decision making.
Should I make a start / tidy before you arrive?
It’s actually most helpful for you to leave your items where they are so we can get a clear picture of what’s working in your space and what isn’t. This helps us create a plan tailored just for you. That said, we do ask that the area we’ll be working in is safe with reasonably cleanliness, so we can focus on decluttering and organising efficiently and effectively.
Should I buy storage solutions?
We’ll discuss any potential storage solutions during your consultation to find what works best for your space. At Simpl Living Co, we follow minimalism principles, by reducing the number of items you own, you often need less storage overall. Sometimes, we recommend decluttering first so we know exactly what storage is needed. We also love to help you repurpose what you already have whenever possible, to keep things simple and sustainable.
What locations do you cover?
We primarily cover most of Sussex, Surrey, and South London. For larger projects, we’re happy to travel further afield as needed. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss your location and project.
Will you take away what I declutter?
For clients using our Wardrobe Service, we offer a free donation removal service. For other in-person services, we offer donation removal for a set fee and items will be taken on the day of your session. (Excluding Central London) Please note, we do not take away general waste or rubbish. Additionally, we offer a Vinted Listing Service to help you sell your unwanted items online, or we can help separate the items you wish to sell yourself.
Will you take photos of my home?
Simpl Living Co respects your privacy. You’ll confirm whether you’re happy for us to capture images and videos at the time of booking.
Will you clean for me?
We’ll wipe down surfaces as needed before organising your items, but we are not a cleaning service. Our focus is on decluttering and organising to create a calm, functional space.
Which areas of the home do you declutter?
We work with all areas of the home, including lofts, garages, sheds, outbuildings, and creative spaces such as craft rooms or studios. We also offer decluttering and organising services for off-site storage units and office spaces.
Do you require a deposit?
For in-person sessions, a deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. For online sessions and workshops, full payment is due at the point of booking.
Are you insured / qualified?
Simpl Living Co carries professional organising insurance to give you peace of mind. Shannon, our founder and professional organiser, is fully accredited and committed to upholding the highest standards in the industry. We also comply with ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) regulations to protect your privacy.
What do you charge?
Our service prices are clearly displayed at the bottom of each service description on our website. If you’re interested in a bespoke package tailored to your specific needs, Simpl Living Co can provide you with a personalised quote after an initial consultation.
