5 tips to help you declutter!

  1. The 12-12-12 Challenge: Find 12 items to throw away, 12 items to donate, and 12 items to return to their proper place.

  2. Create a decluttering playlist: Put on some energizing music to keep you motivated while decluttering.

  3. Try the "Backwards Hanger Trick": Turn all your clothes hangers backward, and after wearing an item, hang it the right way. After a few months, donate any clothing that's still on backward hangers.

  4. Adopt a "One-Box" rule for sentimental items: Allow yourself to keep sentimental items but limit them to fitting within one designated box.

  5. Use drawer dividers or small containers: Keep drawers organised by using dividers or containers to separate different categories of items.
